Each of our patients undergoes a personal and accurate diagnosis that is focused on achieving realistic results and meeting the expectations of our clients.
Our goal is for each of our patients to completely understand the process and our approach to cosmetic dentistry. We will conduct an initial analysis, including a photographic diagnostic imaging presentation. This is when Richard Poole, DMD will explain to each of his patients the potential problems and provide solutions on how these issues can be solved. Each consultation is held in one of our diagnostic rooms and presented via a power point presentation that explains the treatment process. We do allow family members to sit in on the consultation at the discretion of the patient. All minors must be accompanied by one parent or guardian member. After the consultation, we will provide you with all of the imaging for you to peruse at your convenience.
To ensure that the desired results are achieved, we create a diagnostic mock-up based on models of the client’s teeth. This step is necessary because we understand that photographic imaging may not provide realistic results. It also allows us to ensure that the end result will be both cosmetically pleasing and functional.
The last and final measure we take to achieve our client’s desired results is to provide them with prototype provisional restorations. These are temporary reproductions of the diagnostic mock-ups and allow the individual to wear the final design. This step gives us a chance to make any modifications that are needed to make the final result comfortable and function properly in your mouth.
